Software Licensing

Official policy regarding Operating Systems, Third-Party Licenses, and Legal Liability.

1. Included & Supported Licenses

MasterVM provides and covers the underlying distribution costs only for the following Open Source and Enterprise Linux environments:

DEBIAN

UBUNTU

ALMA LINUX

RED HAT (BYOL)

These systems are provided as-is under their respective General Public Licenses (GPL) or community agreements.

2. Proprietary OS Disclaimer

For any Operating Systems not listed above—specifically Microsoft Windows Server or specialized proprietary distributions—MasterVM acts strictly as a "Hardware-as-a-Service" (HaaS) provider.

No License Provision: MasterVM does not provide, sell, or rent license keys for proprietary software.
Customer Installation: Licensing activation and compliance are the sole responsibility of the customer.
No Installation Fees: We do not charge for, nor assist in, the illegal bypassing of activation systems.

3. 100% Liability & Non-Joinder Clause

Lawyer & Legal Entity Protection Notice:

MasterVM operates as a neutral infrastructure intermediary. By utilizing our services, the Customer agrees that 100% of the legal and financial liability for software usage rests with the Customer.

In the event that any law firm, software vendor, or regulatory body initiates legal proceedings against MasterVM regarding a Customer's specific node usage, the Customer is contractually bound to:

Fully indemnify MasterVM against all settlements and fines.
Pay all legal defense costs incurred by MasterVM.
Accept a "Non-Joinder" status, where MasterVM is removed as a defendant in favor of the Customer.

4. Compliance & Data Disclosure

To ensure MasterVM remains compliant with international regulations and "Safe Harbor" laws, we maintain a policy of full cooperation with legitimate legal inquiries.

If an authorized law company or enforcement agency provides evidence of software abuse, MasterVM will share all available metadata, including IP logs, access timestamps, and registration details, to identify the responsible party. We reserve the right to suspend any service immediately upon receiving a valid notice of license infringement.
